Spiritual Connections

All spiritual progress ultimately comes from two things: being okay with who we are and knowing what is true. Resting in Christ is really doing nothing more than resting in the truth of who we are and the truth of who God is. We rest, exactly as we are, and we rest in the knowledge of what is true. The truth we know is that Jesus loves us unconditionally, has a perfect peace towards us, and greatly rejoices over us- exactly as we are. All the freedom we will ever experience in all eternity is found in this simple truth.

In this time of change I feel I need to speak out to the truth that is found in Jesus. We are aliens in a war zone and we need to remind one another that we must bring about the "Kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven". Instead of looking at this time as depression and feelings of sadness actually this is a time of great movement in the kingdom, the curtain has been pulled back and all is exposing the powers that are causing great separation in the church. And the spirit of the air which is controlling much of what we see today. We are to be frontline warriors and push out the darkness. It seems like the cultural and spiritual divide is quite large. This is a moment God has brought to us through our understanding of Jesus.
